Chicken Curry

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 500g diced chicken
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1 jar Tadka Magic – Traditional Curry Sauce
  • Coriander to garnish

Method

  1. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the chicken and cook until fully cooked through and lightly golden.
  3. Pour in 1 full jar of Tadka Magic and stir well.
  4. Simmer for 2–3 minutes
  5. Chop coriander and sprinkle on top as a garnish

Serve with naan or rice.

Lentil Curry 

Serves 3–4 

Ingredients

  • 150g green or brown lentils, rinsed 
  • 3–4 tbsp Tadka Magic – Traditional Curry Sauce 
  • 400ml water
  • Add salt if desired

Method 

  1. Rinse the lentils thoroughly and set aside. 
  2. In a saucepan, combine lentils and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 35- 40 minutes, until lentils are tender. 
  3. Stir in Tadka Magic and simmer for another 10 minutes to let the flavours meld.
  4. Season with salt garnish with fresh coriander and cream.

Serve with rice, naan or eat with salad.

Paneer & Veg Fried Rice

Serves 2-3

Ingredients

  • 200g cooked rice (cooled) 
  • 150g paneer, cubed 
  • 1 small carrot, diced in to small pieces  
  • 50g peppers 
  • 30g spring onions  
  • 2 tsp oil 
  • 5-6 tsp Tadka Magic – Traditional Curry Sauceadd more if you desire  

Method

  1. Heat oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat.
  2. Add the paneer cubes and fry until lightly golden on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add carrots, peas, and green beans. Stir-fry for 4–5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  4. Reduce heat to low and add Tadka Magic. Stir to coat the vegetables evenly.
  5. Add the cooked rice and toss gently to combine everything.
  6. Return the fried paneer to the pan and mix through.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh coriander if desired.

Cheesy Toasts

Makes 2 slices 

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread (white, wholemeal, sourdough — your choice) 
  • 2 tsp Tadka Magic – Traditional Curry Sauce 
  • 50g grated cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix) 
  • Garnish with coriander 

Method

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high
  2. Spread 1 tsp of Tadka Magic evenly over each slice of bread. 
  3. Sprinkle grated cheese generously over the curry sauce. 
  4. Place the slices under the grill and cook for 3–5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden
  5. Add some coriander  
  6. Cool before serving.

Tofu Salad 

Serves 2–3 

Ingredients 

  • 200g firm tofu, cubed 
  • 1–2 tsp oil 
  • 2–3 tsp Tadka Magic – Traditional Curry Sauce 
  • 1 small head of lettuce, chopped 
  • 50g chickpeas 
  • 50g avocado 
  • 50g tomatoes 
  • ½ red onion, thinly sliced
  • ½ cucumber, diced 
  • Cesar salad dressing  

Method

  1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. 
  2. Add tofu cubes and fry until lightly golden on all sides. 
  3. Reduce heat to low, add Tadka Magic sauce, and toss the tofu gently until coated and heated through. 
  4. In a large bowl, combine lettuce, chickpeas, avocado, red onion, and cucumber.
  5. Add the fried tofu with curry sauce on top and toss gently. 
  6. Drizzle Cesar salad dressing on top.

Peas, Carrot, Green Bean, Cauliflower, tomatoes & Potatoes curry

Serves 4 

Ingredients

  • 150g peas 
  • 220g carrots 
  • 240g green beans
  • 100g tomatoes
  • 150g cauliflower
  • 300g potatoes
  • 2 tsp oil
  • ½ jar Tadka Magic – Traditional Curry Sauce

Method 

  1. Finely chop the green beans and carrots. 
  2. Cut the potatoes in small cubes. 
  3. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Add the potatoes and fry till slightly cooked
  5. Add the peas, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, cauliflower.
  6. Cook for 10-12 minutes on low to medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  7. Pour in ½ jar of Tadka Magic and gently stir to coat everything evenly.
  8. Simmer for 5 minutes until rich full of flavour. 

Serve with naan, rice — or even enjoy it as a warm salad.
